No.11837: 1st: Wedding March

Paillard Swiss Tabletop 'Tambour Timbres et Castagnettes' (Drum Timbre and Castanets) Orchestra Cylinder Music Box. Serial #11837. Circa 1890. Mechanism is housed in large burl wood case with mother-of-pearl and brass inlay that measures 11x32.5x14.5''. Music box uses 10 song cylinder measuring 17'', drum, 6 bells with bee strikers, and a castanet. Fully functional although drum skin needs to be tightened or replaced. Some wear to burlwood veneer on exterior and to base molding. Glass dust cover broken on interior.
