On Serial N° 56428, whose tune sheet is in fig. 1-19 the comb slopes at 5 degrees to the bedplate and the cylinder axis is ¼“ (6 mm) below the tooth tips, so the critical comb/cylinder angle is 18 degrees as noted on other Mermod movements.
